An ancient and cunning chimera from the Void.

The ancient animal demon is a seething and writhing mass of disconnected animal parts turned into a horrifying whole. It constantly changes shape, growing eyes, mouths, limbs and claws as needed. Behind this horrifying exterior, however, lurks a terrifying and alien intellect.

    Mark a stress to make a ranged attack. The demon throws a boulder at a point within far range. All creatures within very close range of this point must make an agility reaction roll against the demon's difficulty or take 3d10 physical damage.

  • Inspire Terror

    The demon marks a stress to present the full terror of its demonic aspect. All PCs within close range must make a reaction roll against the demon's difficulty or gain the Terrified condition. A Terrified character must retreat to far range and cannot move closer to the demon as long as they are terrified. If a player marks a stress they can end the Terrified condition.

    By spending two fear, the demon may pound the ground at its feet and make a shockwave. All creatures within close range who are not flying must make an agility reaction roll against the demon's difficulty or take 3d10+8 damage and gain the vulnerable condition.
