This adversary can be spotlighted up to 2 times per GM turn. Spend Fear as usual to spotlight them.

When the Sigilian attacks a Target with Cut, it copies the range, damage, and damage type of the basic weapon attack of the Target. Once an attack has been copied, it is available to be unleashed with Paste. Only a single attack can be copied at once.

Attack a Target. Damage type and range are dictated by the weapon attack copied from Cut.

Mark a Stress to perform two separate attacks. One attack must be made with **Cut** while the second is made with **Paste**. The attacks may occur in any order.

The Sigilian enters a book at close range. If the book is worn by a Target, the Target must succeed an **Agility** Reaction Roll or the Sigilian enters the book. Attacks to destroy the book deal half damage to the Sigillian.

Spend a Fear while inside a book the Sigilian consumes 1d4 pages and restores as much HP. If inside a spell book, the Sigilian may choose to devour a spell of the Target's choice and instead add a number of d6 equal to the devoured spell's level to the next paste attack. Once the Sigilium has been excised from the book, the Target may restore the lost spell for 2 Stress during their next spotlight, 1 stress after the scene, or for free during the next rest.
