About this armor
The shard of a mirror from the Hall of Mirrors. When the wielder glimpses into it, they see another version of themselves.
The shard grants the wielder the ability to temporarily take on the memories, skills, and equipment of the version of themself which they glimpse.
Like the Branch, this shard will only show its true worth in the future.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES:
Glimpse of Possibility – You glimpse into the mirror, and take on the memories and equipment of the you of another world. At the end of every Long Rest, if this ‘armor’ or an armor added by this feature is equipped, unequip and remove any armor previously added by this feature, and then roll 1d6. If you choose not to glimpse into the mirror, this armor is equivalent to Improved Leather Armor.
On a 1, add “Harrowbone Armor” to your inventory and equip it. While this armor is equipped and 1 or more Armor Slots remain unmarked, your Agility trait is equal to your highest trait.
On a 2, add “Irontree Breastplate Armor” to your inventory and equip it. While this armor is equipped and 1 or more Armor Slots remain unmarked, your Strength trait is equal to your highest trait.
On a 3, add “Tyris Soft Armor” to your inventory and equip it. While this armor is equipped and 1 or more Armor Slots remain unmarked, your Finesse trait is equal to your highest trait.
On a 4, add “Runetan Floating Armor” to your inventory and equip it. While this armor is equipped and 1 or more Armor Slots remain unmarked, your Instinct trait is equal to your highest trait.
On a 5, add “Rosewild Armor” to your inventory and equip it. While this armor is equipped and 1 or more Armor Slots remain unmarked, your Presence trait is equal to your highest trait.
On a 6, add “Elundrian Chain Armor” to your inventory and equip it. While this armor is equipped and 1 or more Armor Slots remain unmarked, your Knowledge trait is equal to your highest trait.
If, at any point, the last Armor Slot of an armor added by this feature is marked, remove that armor from your inventory, equip the basic version of Glimpse of the Reflection with all Armor Slots marked, then either mark 2 HP (direct damage), or mark 3 Stress. Then either lose 1 Hope, or give the DM 2 Fear.
Whenever an armor added by this feature is unequipped for any reason, forget the memories of the world that that version of you lived in until you next equip that armor again.
The Becoming – Every time this character uses “Glimpse of Possibility”, add 1 Becoming counter to this card (add 1 Becoming to your inventory via Custom Equipment in Demiplane’s inventory screen). At 5 Becoming, trigger an event. At 10 Becoming, trigger an event and this armor permanently transforms. These counters do not reset during rests, and does not reset upon transformation (poke Cheese for upon reaching 5 and 10 Becoming).
A Glimpse through Sepia and Static – Every time this character rolls a critical success, add 1 Forgotten Memory counter to this card (add 1 Becoming to your inventory via Custom Equipment in Demiplane’s inventory screen). At 3 Forgotten Memory, trigger an event.
