Daggerball is a Pokémon Conversion for Daggerheart. Our hope and aim is that this feels like a combination of the Pokémon Shows and Pokémon Legends Z-A as well as Daggerheart™. We use a lot of the behind-the-scenes Pokémon game principles to work with and complement the Daggerheart™ mechanics.
True and Joe began work on this back in June 2025 after seeing how easy it was for the Ranger’s Companion to operate in combat and how straight forward it was to track the Companions stats and level up options. This led to the thought process of using Daggerheart™ for this conversion which allows Game Masters and Players to enjoy a more fluid combat system like what you would see in the Pokémon Shows and Pokémon Legends Z-A.
