Goblin Murder Dozer

Adversaries Designed by James Bratten • Art by u/OutFold, Reddit

Adversary overview

A crude goblin-engineered killing machine made of scrap metal, stolen boiler parts, and rattling gears. Smoke pours from its unstable engine while a cluster of goblins gleefully steer it toward anything that moves.

From Dungeon Crawler Carl: “A goblin-built, steam-powered machine designed to mow down and slaughter unsuspecting dungeon crawlers. I hope you’re up to date with your tetanus shot.”

Actions

  • Full Throttle
    stress 1

The Dozer roars forward toward a target within Far range. Move into Melee range and make an attack with advantage.

On a success, the target must also make a Strength Reaction Roll (12).
Failure: The target is knocked to Close range and becomes Vulnerable until they next take the spotlight.
Success: The target holds their ground.

Reactions

  • Momentum

When this adversary makes a successful attack against a PC, you gain a Fear.

  • Unstable Boiler

Start a Countdown (6). Any time the Goblin Murder Dozer marks Stress or a PC rolls Success with Fear, decrease the countdown one step. When the countdown ends, its engine catastrophically ruptures.

All targets within Close range must make an Agility Reaction Roll (13).
Failure: Take 2d8 direct physical damage and mark a Stress.
Success: Take 1d8 direct physical damage.

The battlefield is left scattered with burning wreckage and goblin shrapnel, making movement difficult for those on foot.
