About this class

Gunfighters are among the fastest weapon experts around. Able to react to danger and clear leather in an instant, their reflexes are prized throughout the world. Any true gunfighter knows that it takes more than reflexes to really get the job done. Awareness, intuition, insight all go a long way in the career of a Gunfighter. Perhaps most important; the knowledge of how to maintain and tinker with their favored weapons. Gunfighters by nature have chosen a more exotic line of weaponry to master and it takes knowledge of that weaponry to become as lethal as one can be. By knowing their favored weapon inside and out, using it as an extension of themselves and knowing when NOT to use it, a Gunfighter cements themselves as one of the best in what they do.

Class features

  • My Favorite

Your career as a Gunfighter has led you to wield a favored type of weapon. Choose one of the below weapon profiles and gain that weapon as part of your starting gear, this is your “Favorite”:

    - Pistol / Damage 1d6+1 / Close / One-Handed / Reloading: After you make an attack, roll a d6. On a result of 1, you must mark a Stress to reload this weapon before you can fire it again.
    - Rifle / Damage 1d10+3 / Far / Two-handed / Reloading: After you make an attack, roll a d6. On a result of 1, you must mark a Stress to reload this weapon before you can fire it again.

No matter which weapon profile you choose, you may use Agility or Finesse as the weapon’s trait. Additionally, you can choose to make any weapon you find that has the Reloading feature your Favorite. If you do, you may use Agility or Finesse as the trait of that weapon instead of the one it calls for, and you may add attachments to that weapon.

  • Attachments

Not only are you capable at fighting with a Firearm you also know how to maintain and improve it. You start with one attachment known, and whenever you increase your Tier you learn how to craft a new type of attachment (see Attachments list below). Once installed the weapon gains the feature provided by the attachment.
