Spellcast Trait: Presence

Play the Hierophant if you want your words and connections to invoke divine authority.

Foundation

Holy Order: When you arrive at a prominent settlement, you can attempt to locate your Holy Order. You are familiar with one person within this Order. Describe how you know them, and your shared beliefs. The Order provides you with a place to rest, and when you finish a Long Rest there, you can also receive either one Minor Stamina Potion or one Minor Health Potion. The GM can spend a Fear to introduce a complication to finding your Holy Order or for acquiring a place to rest.

Relatable Wisdom: You can mark a Stress to share wisdom with an ally within Close range, choosing one of your Experiences. When that ally uses one of their Experiences to add to a roll, they can also add the bonus from your chosen Experience at no additional cost. This benefit lasts until the end of the scene or until you use this feature again.

Specialization

Deific Orders: Make a Spellcast roll against a number of adversaries equal to your Spellcast trait that can hear you. On a success, you can utter a one-word command, empowered by your deity. Adversaries affected must spend their next spotlight following that command.

Sermon: When you Prepare alongside one or more players during Downtime, you each gain an extra Hope.

Mastery

Divine Intervention: Once per session, when you or an ally makes an action roll, you can mark any number of Stress to roll your Duality dice that many times. After you do, pick a result you rolled. If the result you picked was a roll with Hope, the action roll becomes a success with Hope. If you critically succeeded, the action roll critically succeeds. Otherwise, the result of the action roll is unchanged.

Spellcast Trait: Instinct

Play the Oracle if you want to alter fate through divine power.

Foundation

Prophetic Dice: At the beginning of each session, roll a number of d20s equal to your Spellcast trait and place them on this card. These are your Prophetic Dice. When the GM rolls an action or reaction roll for an adversary you can see, you can spend a Prophetic Die and use the value as the roll’s result. Alternatively, when an ally within Close range would be hit by an attack, you can spend a Prophetic Die to treat their Evasion score as the die’s value for that attack. At the end of each session, clear all unspent Prophetic Dice.

Specialization

Scales of Fortune: Once per rest, when you make an action roll and succeed with Fear, you can choose one ally to gain a Hope. Additionally, if you fail with Hope, you can choose one ally to clear a Stress.

Clairvoyance: When an ally fails an Action roll, and the value of the roll is less than the result of one of your Prophetic Dice, you can mark a Stress to expend that Die and add it to the roll.

Mastery

Beacon of Hope: During a Long Rest, when you Prepare, the GM loses a Fear for each Hope you gain during the rest.

A Fate Foreseen: Mark a Stress and expend a Prophetic Die to allow yourself or an ally within Far range to use a d20 as their Hope die for one roll.
