Monastic
About this class
The Monastic class combines the physical resilience of the Bone domain with the pious power of Splendor. Your playstyle is that of a mobile, versatile enchanter who seamlessly pivots between enduring punishing blows and channeling blinding bursts of divine support. At the table, emphasize the narrative toll this power takes: lean into the discipline of your vows, and describe how your abilities visibly strain your body, whether through the audible snapping of bones resetting or the unsettling brilliance of your exhausted soul.

Divine Aura
At will, you can manifest an aura around you at Very Close range, evoking the aspects of your deity. Your appearance can be enhanced or altered, you can brighten or darken the area, shift the temperature, and create sounds or smells or other harmless effects.
Once per rest, when manifesting such aura, you can channel its divine powers through your body to give it tangible shape. When you do so, choose up to 5 targets inside the aura, marking a Stress for each of them, and choose one of the following effects:
- Rebuke: Chosen adversaries must immediately move out to Close range or take d10 magical damage, using your Proficiency.
- Strain: Chosen adversaries must make a Reaction Roll (10), marking 2 Stress on a failure, or 1 Stress on a success.
- Calm: Chosen allies clear 1 Stress or gain 2 Hope.
- Find Purpose: Chosen allies double their Experience bonus on their next roll that utilizes an Experience.

- What simple, everyday joy that I’ve never known in the Monastery did you introduce me to that I’ve become very fond of?
- When I channel the divine, you are one of the few who don't shrink in fear. What is it about my presence that makes you feel safe rather than afraid?
