In the realm of Lacuna there are two Queens…
All their lives, that’s what our heroes have been told—as has everyone in Lacuna. Past all mortal memory, the twin Queens of Hope have guarded the land with their wisdom, their blessings, and the powerful Ward that shields their realm from forces mysterious and dark.
Only the Poets of Lacuna, a gifted few attuned to the Ward, can feel what’s been forced behind it—and protect others from whatever breaks through. Our four young heroes have been training in these arts, but they’re soon to discover that Hope is not the only power that forged this realm…or their fates.
