Gunsmoke & Dread — A Free Weird West Cosmic Horror Quickstart for Daggerheart

A little update from the author of Gunsmoke & Dread.

I’m Riccardo Scaringi, and over the last few months I’ve been developing Gunsmoke & Dread, a Weird West horror RPG built to be Daggerheart Compatible.

The project has changed and grown a lot since I first shared it here. The free Quickstart is now available, the full game is deep into development, and I’ve just released a new 2-minute trailer that gives a much better idea of the atmosphere I’m aiming for: gunsmoke, frontier desperation, cosmic horror, and choices whose consequences can follow you for a long time.

One thing I also want to make clear, since it came up around the project before: the current game contains no AI-generated material.

If the idea of Daggerheart crossing into the Weird West sounds interesting to you, I’d genuinely love to know what you think of the Quickstart — especially the rules, atmosphere and actual play experience.
