A pompous noble accustomed to a life of luxury
Pompous and perfumed, arrogant aristocrats abound in the upper eschelons of society. Whether this is a merchant land-owner in the hinterland or an officious sub-ministerial official, these demanding people often control the levers of society.
The Aristocrat makes demands backed by the full weight of their own expectation of deference. The target player must make a presence reaction roll or mark 1 stress and gain the Browbeaten condition, which imposes a -1 penalty upon any subsequent rolls against the Aristocrat until cleared.
When a player makes a success with hope, you can mark a stress to change it to a success with fear.
