Adversary overview

Fist-sized flies swollen with ichor. Their heavy droning buzz almost sounds like whispering or humming voices. They attack by spraying digestive acid at a surprising distance.

Barflies are created when living flies feast on food or ale tainted with necromantic magic. The magic infects them, causing them to grow rapidly until the stress on their bodies kills them, after which it takes over and the bloated zombie insectoid corpse rises as a new Barfly.
