Designed for the Weekly Community Homebrew Challenge on 29/06/26.

The Bearkin Sweettooth is part of a honey-craving society of bears that steal honey from other communities. They believe they are the only ones worthy of honoring honey and therefore must procure every jar of it. Bearkin go as far as to use old honey jars as clothing or equipment. They even share this valuable resource among themselves to empower their honey-keepers, who defend their stores.

  • Sweeten The Deal

    While not Enraged, mark a Stress to move to an Adversary in Close range. They clear a HP and are temporarily Sugar Rushed until their next spotlight. While Sugar Rushed, as part of their standard attack, they can rush towards a target in Far range. On a success, in addition to dealing damage, the target is pushed to Close range.

  • Sticky Bump

    Spend a Fear to make a standard attack and cover the target in honey. On a success, in addition to dealing damage, the target is made Vulnerable until they succeed on a Finesse Action Roll as they are swarmed by bees.

Reactions

  • Crackpot

    When the Bearkin takes Severe or higher damage, the pot on their head cracks and they are Enraged until the end of the scene. While Enraged, they gain a bonus of +2 to their Difficulty and their standard damage becomes 2d10+1.
