A terrifying 10-legged spider with a body about the size of a medium dog and fangs dripping with venom.
The Dekanid can mark a Fear to wrap a Paralyzed creature in its web, at which point the target is considered Enwebbed and must mark a Stress. As long as the Enwebbed creature is no longer Paralyzed or otherwise incapacitated, they can make a Strength Roll (8) to clear the Enwebbed condition. On the Dekanid's next spotlight, if not already in a Dekanid Nest, they must instinctively grab the Enwebbed creature and begin trying to carry or drag it to the Dekanid Nest.
When the Dekanid succeeds on an attack against a living target that has blood, mark a Stress to inject the target with a paralyzing venom. The target must succeed on a Strength Reaction Roll (13) or become Paralyzed for the remainder of the scene, until they succeed on a Strength Reaction Roll (13) to clear the condition, or it is cleared by another means. While Paralyzed in this way, the target is conscious but cannot move and their speech is unintelligible.
