A giantkin monster that inhabits fens and marshes
Fen Trolls are massive Giant-kin that often inhabit fens or other swampy areas, often loners they only congregate to breed. Fen troll hearts can be made into a very potent healing potion (2d4+4 HP) if the PC’s know how to brew healing potions. Fire and Acid damage cannot be regenerated with the Fen Troll’s Regeneration ability.
You must spend a Fear to spotlight the adversary. While spotlighted, they can make their standard attack against all targets within range.
Mark a Stress to charge through a group within Close range and make an attack against all targets in the Fen Troll’s path. Targets the Fen Troll succeeds against take 2d6+8 physical damage and are knocked back to Very Far range. If a target is knocked into a solid object or another creature, they take an extra 1d6 damage (combine the damage).
Make an attack against a target within Very Close range, moving the Fen Troll into Melee range of them. On a success, deal 2d8 direct physical damage.
When this adversary makes a successful attack against a PC, you gain a Fear.
When the Fen Troll marks a Hit Point it can Mark a stress to clear 1d4 Hit Points of Damage. This Reaction cannot be used if the damage was caused by Fire or Acid.
