Actions

  • Horrific Visage
    fear 1

Each target in Close range cone must make an Instinct Reaction Roll (DC 13) that can see the Ghost. On a failure, the target(s) take 1d10+3 magical damage and gains the Frightened (Vulnerable) condition until cleared. On a success, the target(s) cannot be affected by this feature again.

  • Possession (Countdown 6)
    fear 2

Begin a Countdown (6) after spending 2 Fear. Once active, the Ghost targets a single creature. That target must make a Presence Reaction Roll (DC13). On a failure, the target is possessed by the Ghost. While possessed, the following takes place:

    - The Ghost disappears.
    - The target creature gains the Incapacitated condition and loses control of its body; the Ghost now controls the body, but the creature retains awareness.
    - The Ghost cannot be directly targeted by any physical attack or spell; the Host absorbs all damage.
    - The Ghost is expelled when the creature's HP drops to 0, or the Ghost leaves willingly.

On a success, the target cannot be affected by the possession until their next long rest.
