Gaunt, dog-shaped skeletal forms with pale human faces stretched into menacing grins.
Motives & Tactics: Hunt, Mock, Feed on attention
Designed by
Gaunt, dog-shaped skeletal forms with pale human faces stretched into menacing grins.
These twisted creatures were cruel and mocking in their mortal lives. Risen from the dead but those who silently cursed them, their bodies have become lean, dog-like skeletal forms with human faces twisted in wicked smiles. They roam in packs, snickering and growling, hunting anyone who dares cross their path.
If two or more Hecklehounds are within Very Close range of each other, they gain Advantage on attack rolls as their jibes and taunts play off each other.
The hound marks a Stress to deliver a snapping insult to a target in Far range. Make a standard attack, if successful the target takes 2d6+4 magic damage, and becomes Vulnerable.
When a Hecklehound is missed by an attack, the hound slips into the attacker’s shadow and reappears anywhere within Close range, taunting the attacker. The attacker makes a Presence Reaction Roll, marking 1 Stress if they fail.
