Once the house bard of the Last Round Table, Mugsy stayed employed because the crowd enjoyed hating him almost as much as he enjoyed hating them back. When the tavern fell, Mugsy did not leave with it. His bitterness, unfinished ambitions, and warped talent bound him to the cellar below, where his music curdled into something cruel. Now he performs for no audience at all, draining warmth, sound, and joy from the tavern that refused to bow to him.
Treasure: Mugsy drops his Loathsome Lute when defeated.
A haunting painful melody plays around Mugsy at all times. The first time an enemy enters Close range of Mugsy, they must make a Presence or Instinct Reaction Roll, becoming Vulnerable until they next act if they fail.
Mark a Stress as Mugsy summons a spectral spotlight to shine on a fellow adversary within Far range. The target immediately gains the spotlight, and has advantage on their action. After their actions, regardless of the roll, the spotlight returns to Mugsy.
Mugsy releases a piercing shriek. All enemies in Close range must make a Strength Reaction Roll, taking 2d6+2 magic damage if they fail.
Spend a Fear as Mugsy continues his unfinished masterpiece. All living creatures in Close range must make a Presence Reaction roll, taking 2d8+4 magic damage on a fail. If any creature is killed by this damage, the tavern’s Living Pub Mood immediately lowers by 2.
When an enemy targets Mugsy with a Melee range attack, Mugsy emits a burst of clashing noise. The enemy must make an Agility Reaction Roll, or be blown back to a location within Close range.
