When the Head Out Back Countdown reaches 0, have each PC make an Instinct Reaction roll. On a success the PC notices the Barkeep has been absent for some time. Gain a Fear for each failure.
Mark a Stress to have the Barkeep glance at the party and leave out the back door. Start a Countdown (3). Tick it down each time a PC makes a roll with Fear.
When a PC says something that the Barkeep doesn't appreciate, mark a Stress to have the barkeep feign a stumble and pour beer all over that PC. They must mark a Stress.
If a PC talks about the Barkeep's secret Employer or other sensitive information while in Close range of the Barkeep, spend a Fear to have them write about it in their notebook and that PC becomes Known. If a PC is Known, they have disadvantage on attempts to persuade or intimidate the Barkeep or their Employer. This condition ends if the notebook is stolen or after the scene in which they confront the Employer.
