An intelligent undead studying dark magic to further the plots of their master.
The Occultist is an ancient undead who serves their vampire master. They consider themselves as an equal to the master they serve and have earned their respect. They study the dark powers behind their condition in their quest for power.
Before or after making a standard attack, you can mark a Stress to teleport to a location within Far range.
The Occultist can be spotlighted up to 3 times per GM turn. Spend Fear as usual to spotlight them.
Spend a Fear to send a volley of magical projectile towards all targets in front of the Occultist within Far range. All targets in this area must make an Agility Reaction Roll (19). Targets who fail take 2d12+6 magical damage and are knocked back to Close range.
Mark 2 Stress to make all targets within Close range mark 1 HP. For each target, clear a HP.
When the Occultist sees a PC make a Spellcast roll, they can mark a Stress to reduce the PC's Hope Die to a d8 for this roll. On a roll with Fear, you gain 1d4 Fear.
