When the Verdant Hound makes a successful attack, the target must mark 2 Armor Slots instead of 1 to reduce the damage by one threshold.
All "damage" dealt to the Verdant Hound is superficial, and at worst cuts into the mass of fungal growth that surrounds it's real body. Once the Verdant Hound is reduced to 0HP or made Vulnerable, it is subdued.
Mark a Stress and choose a target within Far range. The Verdant Hound moves into Melee range of the target and make a standard attack against them as it jumps on them. On a success, gain a damage die to the damage roll as the target is knocked down.
A PC within very close range of the Verdant Hound must make a Strength saving throw. They have disadvantage if they are knocked down. On a failure, the Verdant hound grabs their primary or secondary weapon in its teeth and moves to Far range away from the PCs.
Make an attack against a PC within Very Close range. This attack is at advantage if the PC is knocked down. On success they are restrained and can only take actions against the Verdant Hound. They are released if the Verdant Hound takes major damage.
When the Verdant Hound is restraining a target and is spotlighted, it moves to Far range away from the PCs. The PC takes 3 damage.
Spend a fear to summon a swarm of lice within Very Close range of the Verdant Hound.
When this adversary makes a successful attack against a PC, you gain a Fear.
