Dendril resemble humanoid plants. Their appearance and size can be as varied as the species of plants across the world, ranging from 2 to over 8 feet tall. Some dendril are petite and unassuming, resembling sentient flowers or bushes, while others are towering tree-like giants with hard, bark-like skin and branch-like arms. Dendril hair is usually shaped from their blossoms, leaves, or canopy, while their limbs are formed from branches, leaves, or roots. Like real plants, dendril change with age, being green in their youth, vibrant and blossoming in their prime, and faded and withered in their old age. Their appearance can also change with the seasons. Regardless of their vegetal visage, they can be more or less human, with some having a distinctly humanoid body shape and facial features. Dendril are people of serenity and a deep respect for the natural world. They care for groves and gardens, seeing ordinary plants as relatives and friends, and as much individuals as they themselves are.
