About this ancestry

Ensōs are vessels crafted from any kind of malleable material by a forgotten entity. Their only proof that they are crafted by this entity is an insignia on some part of their body, which acts like a brand. Their size and shape may vary. However, they have a few constants that makes them unique: their brand, and that they are hollow, much like a vessel.

Ensōs are ultimately crafted to do a single purpose, and once that is done, they perish. However, recently, since they have lost their connection with the entity that crafted them, they have lost their true purpose but found other reasons to live. Their hollowness has become their driving force to live: to fill that void with experiences that they gather through their whole lives until they are killed or the entity whispers their true purpose.
