The Kindred are an ancestry of people with a connection to the spirits of the land. They have small, pointed ears, and translucent eyes of a glowing color. At times, they can appear to give off a faint glow. Due to their connection to the land, they often work the land, resulting in rough, calloused hands, though still gentle. Their connection to the land allows them to see the spirits of the land. They use these spirits to help them in their journeys. This connection is what allows the kindred eyes to glow. The eyes of young kindred don't glow as much simply due to the lack on interaction with these spirits. When they reach old age, a kindred's eyes are either barely visible, or glowing to the point of looking like a portal to another world. Their hands also grow rougher, but that's just due to the strenuous work.
