Pixies are tiny creature who resemble small elves. They have pointed ears, and glowing eyes. Additionally, they have a set of wings that glow with a luminous color, oftentimes reflecting their mood. They generate a sensory effect around them, so you usually can tell when one is nearby. The effect can be a kind of pixie dust, or a strong smell of a natural occurrence, or just a wave of color from their wings. Due to their small statue, they can be overprotective at times, and may cause undue harm to someone who they think is attacking them. Their trust is hard-earned, but well worth it, because they can be incredibly helpful, and reliable, when they trust you. Even if they trust you, they still might play pranks on you, but it's nothing personal. Younger Pixies have a tendency to overproduce their sensory effect. They learn to control their sensory effects, and use them more wisely. Aside from graying hair, Pixes don't tend to show signs of age after maturity. When a Pixie dies, their whole body turns the color of their wings before they disintegrate, and fully become the sensory effect they produce, and then blows into the wind to rejoin nature.
