The Swashbuckler mixes martial prowess with poise, elegance, and sheer force of personality. Play a swashbuckler to dance across the battlefield with ease, taunting your foes as it were effortless, looking good the whole while.

Dance of Blades
You may spend a Hope to enter a Dance of Blades, which lasts until the end of the Scene or until you take Severe damage. While in a Dance of Blades, you gain the following benefits.
Attacks creatures make against you have Disadvantage unless they mark a Stress.
You have advantage on Agility rolls made to move.
Whenever an adversary within Very Far range marks their last Stress, clear a Stress. -
Fearless Poise
Once per rest, when you would make an action roll with fear, mark a Stress to make it a roll with Hope instead.

In The Right Circles: Whenever you meet a new NPC for the first time, you may Mark a Stress to say you have a friend in common. You may ask one question about the NPC without making a roll, and have advantage on non-attack Presence rolls against the NPC for the rest of the scene
Taunting Tongue: Whenever you hit an adversary with an attack, you may spend a Hope to make them become temporarily Insulted. Insulted creatures cannot make action rolls that do not target you.

Regal Bearing: When you succeed with Hope on a Presence Roll, you can remove a Fear from the GM’s Fear pool instead of gaining Hope.
Weaving Duelist: Your Evasion increases by +1 against Insulted creatures.

Decisive Strike: Once per Session, when you make an Insulted creature mark one or more hit points, you may spend any number of Hope. If you do, they mark a number of additional Hit Points equal to the Hope spent.

Force Back: Whenever you deal damage to adversary within Melee range, they must mark Stress equal to the Hit Points they marked or move back to Close range from you.

Close Call: Once per rest, you may mark a Stress in place of an Armor Slot. When you do, target adversary within Close range marks Stress equal to the Hit Points you would have marked.
Rabble Rouser: You have advantage on Presence rolls to work large crowds and convince others to perform risky actions.

Living Legend: Once per Session, when you would succeed on a roll but not critically succeed, you may instead choose to Critically Succeed. In addition, when you use Tales of Daring-Do, you and each ally within Very Far range may clear a Stress as well.

Mocking Jape : Spend 3 Hope to force an adversary within Very Far range to mark Stress equal to your Presence.
