    1. You look up at one of the green-trunked trees and squint in the light, trying to focus on the palm-like fronds at the top, which appear yellow. You blink again and realise it is a yellow flower. A massive yellow flower.
    2. You explore the underbrush and discover a very unusual-looking stick. It has a bulbous end and a white shaft the length of your arm, with a white fluff on the end. This is... a dandelion seed.
    3. You squint into the distance and see what looks like a single towering mountain of earth towering over the forest around you.

    Questions
    • What other things does the party see to really show how small they are?
    • What really is the perspective down there?

Actions

action
  • Droplets

Pick an area on the map. Any PCs in that area must make an agility reaction or take 1D8+3 phy damage and be restrained inside a water droplet. They remained restrained until a successful finesse or strength roll, or the droplet takes 6 damage and bursts.

    Questions
    • How long can they hold their breath?
    • Will they get any warning?
  • What is that sound?

Spend a fear and summon 1d6 packs of Giant mosquitoes.

    Questions
    • What IS that sound?
    • How BIG are these bugs?

Reactions

reaction
  • Halt, Stompers!

After the area has been thoroughly explored, a Sylvan Soldier appears, mildly hostile towards the PCs. He calls them "Stompers" and demands to know what they are going. Previous adventuring parties were unking to his people.

On a successful social encounter, he will bring you to his village.

On a failed encounter, he will call for reinforcements of other Sylvan Soldiers and a Young Dryad that attack the party. Once the Soldier is killed, the party is unable to find his village without making the effort to find it.

    Questions
    • Why is he so angry?
    • What did the other party do?

About this environment
