Features

Passives

passive
  • Tool-Strewn Floor

The floor is a dangerous mosaic of wood shavings, loose clamps, discarded metal fragments, and spilled oil.

All characters must make a Finesse Check when moving more than one range band. Failure results in the creature falling Prone and taking 2d4 Damage or 1d4 stress from stepping or falling onto a sharp tools

Actions

action
  • Suspended Timber

Several massive, partially prepared ironwood timbers—destined for a ship's hull—are suspended high from the ceiling by rope and winch mechanisms.

A player can use a full action to make a Finesse or Knowledge check targeting the ropes. Success cuts or loosens the rope, causing a section of timber to drop on an area up to close range. Any creature in that area must make a Instinct check or take 2d8 Damage and become Prone.

Reactions

  • Controlled Chaos

Anytime a character rolls with fear during an attack they have accidentally struck a piece of furniture or workshop item. This causes a destruction countdown to tick down. Once the countdown reaches zero the workshop is a destroyed mess and as a result any future attacks against an enemy in the space has Disadvantage on it.

About this environment

The ground floor is the main workspace, a chaotic yet deeply organized area. Tools hang neatly despite the surrounding mess of wood shavings and discarded metal. A vast workbench dominates the center, covered in specialized calipers and unfinished tools. Blueprints are pinned to a far wall, and a large, unlit forge sits cold in the corner.
