Bingles has taken your favoured weapon, soaked it in a pot of boiling Goblin Goo for 12 hours, sprinkled some herbs and spice into the mix, and enhanced it with his own special magical prose. Hey presto! A mace that literally sucks the life force out of your enemies and potentially heals you.

Cost: 1 hope. Twice per long rest on a sucessful attack, you can call upon the power of the damned (what kind of Seraph are you?!) to suck the very essence out of your foes. Speak the activation words “Your soul is mine” to add 1d6 necromantic magic damage to your attack. If you suceed with hope, you heal 1 hp as the foe’s life force replenishes your own.

Does not work on the dead or those with no life force.
