Keeper Thade

Difficulty: 13 | HP: 5 | Stress: 4
Motive: To guard the Spire's flame, utilize his feline agility to outmaneuver threats, and silently observe from the shadows to protect his newfound allies.

Keeper Thade is a rugged feline-humanoid “Katari” with clouded leopard fur, vertically slit golden pupils, high triangular ears, and long sensitive whiskers. He is dressed in scorched leather armor subtly interwoven with natural forest vines and leaves, reflecting his Wildborne heritage.

Pounce From the Shadows
Trigger: A PC within Close range fails an attack roll against an adversary
Effect: Thade darts from the periphery with his Katari reflexes, swiping with his sharp, retractable claws to distract the foe. Thade marks 1 stress and deals 1d6 physical damage to the adversary, and the PC gains advantage on their next attack roll against that target
The Keeper's Boon
Choice: When a battle or dangerous situation begins, choose a favored PC to protect
Trigger: The favored PC is about to take Major or Severe damage
Effect: Thade channels a pulse of warm, protective firelight from his magical wooden staff. He steps in to shield them, reducing the severity of the incoming damage by one threshold.
Silent Observer
Trigger: The party is in a tense social negotiation, or trying to spot an ambush or hidden danger.
Effect: Utilizing his Wildborne Lightfoot ability and heightened Katari senses (vertically slit pupils and swiveling ears), Thade effortlessly eavesdrops or spots hidden details from the rafters. He quietly whispers a crucial piece of leverage or warning to a PC, granting them advantage on their next Presence or Instinct roll
