Call of the Drifter

Subclasses Designed by smooth-memer

About these subclasses

The Call of the Drifter is meant to evoke a ronin or samurai that dashes about the battlefield, avoiding strikes and dealing them out in equal measure.
Drifting is intended to be the start of the CotD Warrior’s dodge-tanking side, while additionally giving advantage to feed into the speedy feel of the subclass.
Quick Draw is meant to be the primary, mechanical function of the CotD Warrior, allowing them to deal with multiple enemies at once.
Riposte feeds off of Drifting, giving a payoff for enemies missing.
Finisher feeds into the previous abilities, giving the CotD Warrior some more staying power with their other features.
Clash grants a one-time defense against any late-game enemies that manage to hit the CotD Warrior still.
And, finally, Dancing Blade improves on Quick Draw to effectively make it an alternate form of Blade’s Whirlwind.
Features are based on a combination of Usual-Vegetable-1197’s homebrew Samurai Class and The Void playtest Juggernaut Brawler, with my own changes, of course.
This is my first time homebrewing for Daggerheart, and my first time publicly posting my homebrew ideas, but I’m looking forward to any feedback!
