Warden of the Dead

Spellcast Trait: Presence

Send adversaries to an early grave.

Foundation

Dead Man: Your Marked for Death class feature uses d6s instead of d4s.

Precipice::
  • When an adversary that is Marked for Death has two remaining hit points or less, your attacks do double the amount of damage.

Specialization

Death Strike: When you deal severe damage to a creature, you can mark a stress to make them mark an additional hit point.

Beware the Dying:
  • You gain a +2 bonus to your evasion against any attacks made by a creature Marked for Death.

Mastery

Dead Man: Your Marked for Death class feature uses d8s instead of d6s

Kiss of Death:
  • Once per long rest, when you fail an action roll you can spend a hope to make it a success with hope instead.

Shadow Traveler

Spellcast Trait: Finesse

Manipulate the shadows to maneuver through the environment.

Foundation
Shadow Stepper:
  • You can move from shadow to shadow. When you move into an area of darkness or a shadow cast by another creature or object, you can mark a Stress to disappear from where you are and reappear inside another shadow within far range. When you reappear, you are cloaked

In addition, you can mark additional stress according to your GM to bring with you willing

Specialization

Shadowmancer: You can shape the shadow element into harmless effects. Additionally, spend a hope and describe how your control over this element helps an action roll you’re about to make, then either gain a +1 bonus to the roll or a +2 bonus to the roll’s damage.

Cloud of Darkness:
  • Make a spellcast roll (15). On a success, create a temporary dark cloud that covers any area within Close range. Anyone in this cloud can’t see outside of it, and anyone outside of it can’t see in; aside from you or any other Child of Hades. You’re considered cloaked from any adversary for whom the cloud blocks line of sight.

Mastery

Fleeting Shadow: Gain a permanent +1 bonus to your Evasion. You can use your Shadow Stepper foundation feature to move within very far range without marking additional stress.

Vanishing Act:
  • Mark a stress to become cloaked at any time. When cloaked from this feature, you automatically clear the restrained condition if you have it. You remain cloaked in this way until you roll with fear or until your next rest.
