About these subclasses

This subclass was created to fulfill the niche and class fantasy of being a dancer on the battlefield, and thus, mostly focuses on mobility, agility, evading attacks, weaving in and out of different places, as well as captivating adversaries using the Distract condition present in the Bard’s Hope Feature; this fulfills the fantasy of dancing so beautifully that you can turn heads and distract people. The Mastery Feature combines the Tag Team Roll (a perfect analog for two people dancing together) and the Rally Dice, giving a greater chance of success on the Tag Team Roll.

Spell trait: Agility

Play the Dancer if you want unmatched elegance and mobility on the battlefield.

Foundation
Tier 1

Limber: Gain a permanent +1 bonus to your Evasion.

Enchanting Dance: Make a Spellcast Roll against all adversaries within Very Close range. Targets you succeed against are temporarily Distracted by your dance moves, giving them a -2 penalty to their Difficulty.

Specialization
Tier 2

Pirouette’s Revenge: When an adversary within Melee range misses an attack against you, you can make an Agility Reaction Roll against their Difficulty. If you succeed, you can mark a Stress to force the target to mark a Hit Point.

Magical Movement: When you succeed with Hope on a Spellcast Roll, you can move to anywhere within Close range instead of gaining a Hope.

Mastery
Tier 3

Two to Tango: If you and an ally within Melee range have a Rally Die, you can both spend it to roll it and perform a Tag Team Roll, adding the results of both Rally Dice to the Tag Team Roll. This does not count against the once per session limit to initiate a Tag Team Roll.

Dancer's Aura: The range of your “Enchanting Dance” feature expands to Close range.
