Subclasses Designed by Mike Babish

About these subclasses

Choose either the Card Shark or Card Counter subclass

The biggest cost of the Luck domain is that it is constantly pulling cards out of your loadout and back into your vault.

Mechnically, the Card Shark counters this by giving you a “free draw” from your vault. But since you can’t choose which card you draw, you risk pulling something that doesn’t help you.

Mechanically, the Card Counter counters this by giving you a larger loadout and rewarding you for having empty slots.

Card Shark

Card Shark

Spell trait: Finesse

Play the Card Shark if you want to constantly push your luck for big advantages

Foundation
Tier 1
Pick a Card: Before an action roll, if you have open spots in your loadout, you can swap one card from your vault without paying the Stress cost. The card must be drawn randomly from the available cards in your vault. You can not choose a different action after seeing which card was drawn.
Specialization
Tier 2
Marked Card: Once per long rest, choose one of your Luck Domain Cards and place a marker on that card. When you Pick a Card, you can select the marked card instead of drawing randomly, but then remove the mark from the card. (The card can still be drawn randomly without removing the mark.)
Mastery
Tier 3
Tip The Scales: When you Pick a Card, you can draw two Luck Domain cards and choose the one you want
