Spellcast Trait: Agility"One cut, one life. There is no second strike for the one who dies first."
Sen - First Strike: When you make an attack against a target that hasn't yet acted in this encounter or that is unaware of you, you gain advantage on the attack roll. If the attack succeeds, you may mark a Stress to deal an additional point of HP.
Kesshō — Find the Weak Point: When you succeed on an attack, you may mark a Stress. If you do, and the damage you deal qualifies as Severe damage, the target marks an additional HP — you found the gap between the plates.
Iaijutsu — The Quick Draw: Once per rest, when an adversary within Melee range makes an attack against you or an ally, you may spend a Hope to draw and strike as a reaction, making a weapon attack against that adversary before their attack resolves. This does not use your action. If your counter-strike succeeds, the triggering attack is made with disadvantage.
Kamae — Stance of the Blade: At the start of each of your turns, choose one stance. It lasts until you choose a new one:
· Chūdan-no-Kamae (Center Stance): Balanced and ready. Gain a +2 bonus to your Evasion until your next turn.
· Jōdan-no-Kamae (High Stance): Committed to the killing blow. Your weapon attacks deal an extra hit point this turn, but you gain a -2 penalty to Evasion until your next turn.
· Waki-Gamae (Low Stance): Hidden intent. If you miss an attack while in this stance, mark a Stress to reroll the attack.
Zanshin — Unbroken Focus: When you succeed on a weapon attack against a target within Melee range, you may spend a Hope to immediately make a second weapon attack against a different adversary also within Melee range, dealing your normal weapon damage on a hit. This second strike does not benefit from Sen, Kesshō, or Jōdan-no-Kamae's bonus damage.
Ichigeki — One Cut, Many Falls: Once per long rest, you may make a single attack roll and, in one motion, cut through every adversary you choose within Far range.
If you succeed, mark a Stress for each adversary you strike this way. Every standard adversary or Minion caught in the cut is automatically defeated. If a Solo or Bastion adversary is among them, it instead automatically takes Severe damage and gains the Bleeding condition: at the start of each of its turns, it marks 1 additional HP. Bleeding lasts until the adversary receives healing or the scene ends.
