This is for Shield’s Rest’s Pokémon Conversion to Daggerheart. Our current Open Beta only goes to level 4. We hope you will play this free conversion and give us feedback so we can make it better for all.

Gym Trainer

Spell trait: Strength

Play as the Gym Trainer if you want to be adept at battling Pokémon of a particular type.

Foundation
Tier 1

Put to the Test: You and your Pokémon have been challenged often and are tougher for it. You and all of your Pokémon gain an additional +1 to your Armor Score and Thresholds.

Core Training: Choose an additional level-up option for your Pokémon when they reach level 2.

Hometown Trainer

Hometown Trainer

Spell trait: Strength

Play as the Hometown Trainer if you want to be more in tune with the surrounding land and the Pokémon that live there.

Foundation
Tier 1

Favored Area: Choose your hometown and the surrounding routes that are adjacent to your home, this area becomes your Favored Area. Pokémon are friendlier towards you while in your Favored Area allowing you to add your Command Trait to your catch rolls and friendship bonus.

Won't Give Up: Once per long rest when you have spent your last Hope, you immediately rally and gain 1 Hope.
