Mask of the Shadow

Spellcast Trait: Presence

Play the Mask of the Shadow if you want to wield secrets and stealth as tools of justice.

Foundation
Safe House: As a Long Rest activity, you can establish a safe place. It must be stationary, and large enough to hold your whole party. Anyone currently inside the safe house is immune to all effects that would detect them from outside, both magical and mundane.
Gentle Pressure: When one of your abilities would force a target to mark Stress while in your Social Identity, they must mark 1 additional Stress.
Specialization
Cold Read: When you meet someone prominent or famous while in your Social Identity, you may ask the GM if you’ve heard any dark or nasty rumors about them. The GM will answer truthfully.
Mastery
Subtle Barbs: While interacting with someone in your Social Identity, you can subtly reference harmful or scandalous information you gained about them elsewhere. If you do so, you may roll a d20 as your Hope Die on your first Presence roll made after the reveal.

Mask of the Punisher

Spellcast Trait: Agility

Play the Mask of the Punisher if you want to enact justice upon the wicked at the point of a weapon.

Foundation
Sudden Appearance: When you Attack a target who is unaware of your presence while in your Vigilante Identity, you knock them off guard. If your Attack hits, they are temporarily Vulnerable.
Fear Is My Blade: When you succeed with Fear on an attack roll while in your Vigilante Identity, you may deal an additional 1d8 physical damage.
Specialization
Frightening Appearance: When you would gain the benefits of your Sudden Appearance, you may also apply those same benefits to any targets who were within Very Close range of your target. If you succeed with Fear, this applies to all targets within Close range of your target.
Fear Is My Arsenal: The bonus damage from your “Fear Is My Blade” feature increases to 2d8.
Mastery
A Fair Fight: When you have at least 2 enemies and no allies within Close range, you gain a bonus to your attack and damage rolls equal to the amount of enemies within Close range.
Fear Rules All: The bonus damage from your “Fear Is My Blade” feature increases to 3d8.
