Fear Me is a Daggerheart supplement designed to give GMs a framework for adding Villains into any campaign they are running. The structure in which these Villains are presented offers an array of details for you to pull inspiration from, all on a single two-page spread.
Villains can be dropped in as side arcs for a longer story, strung together into a sprawling narrative, or placed at the center of a campaign and serve as your big bad. This malleability also makes Villains a great resource for GMs interested in creating sandbox campaigns: simply grab your favorites, place them in your world, and set their plots into motion.
Fear Me offers ten Villains to choose from, giving you enemies for the PCs to fight against for every tier of play. Each Villain spread is presented with the following sections to get you inspired and equipped for your game:
Fear Me introduced 10 villains for use in your Daggerheart campaigns:
In addition to the book itself, Fear Me includes And My Army: a collection of 49 pre-made faction adversaries. Using RightKnighttoFight’s Guide to Making Custom Adversaries, I made a generic adversary for most adversary types in the game, then for each Villain selected a few to give Faction Features to.
This should mean you can get the full benefit of the Faction Features section without having to alter any pre-existing statblocks, though I recommend you try that out too!
If you’re an enterprising agent of evil homebrewing your own Villains or Faction Features, I’ve included each of these statblocks in the back of And My Army so you can take them and apply your own mechanics.
