This is an excellent Christmas adventure - fun concept, good (stock) maps, good fights and some fun RP and a traversal environment. I ran it for 5 players and the encounter scaling was good, delivering the cinematic moments I'd hope for from Daggerheart. I did feel the need to make some visuals to represent the village and journey, but that is personal preference. My only criticism, really, is that I can't see this ever being run in "2-3 hours" - we had a 3 hour session, and I was pushing it along, and I still had to miss out a whole combat. For us, it would have been better as a two-shot (I knew that as soon as I read it), but group scheduling sadly did not permit that. I bought two other Christmas one-shots this year (one of which was a Kickstarter costing $10) and this PYWY one was far the best of the three in terms of being well thought through, presented to be easy to run, and just plain fun! Good job Good Egg!

I have gotten to run this holiday module TWICE now. Once in person and the second time online, and both times have been INCREDIBLE. Good Egg Games just keeps putting out these excellent products and I'm stoked to see what else is on the horizon.
