The city of Argentum was once another in a line of several cities along the west coast of a world full of mundane people going about their regular everyday lives. It was a growing technological capital, but otherwise not particularly noteworthy.

And then the extrahumans started showing up. As regular everyday humans began to spontaneously develop supernatural and extraordinary abilities, Argentum was one of the first to adopt a policy of acceptance and welcome the heroes as a part of it. Because of this, Argentum is known as the home of Vigilants, and boasts the largest concentration of extrahumans anywhere in the world.
