What are Best Seller badges?
Best Seller badges are a simple way of celebrating products that have reached major sales milestones on the Heart of Daggers Marketplace.
As a product reaches certain numbers of completed sales, it automatically earns a new Best Seller badge. The badge appears alongside the product across Heart of Daggers, making it easy to spot products that have been popular with the community.
There is nothing creators need to apply for or activate – Best Seller badges are awarded automatically based on sales.
What do the different badges mean?
There are eight Best Seller tiers:

A product always displays the highest milestone it has reached.
For example, if your product has 175 completed sales, it will display the Sapphire Best Seller badge. Once it reaches 200 sales, that badge will automatically upgrade to Diamond Best Seller.
What counts towards a Best Seller badge?
Best Seller milestones are based on the total quantity sold through completed Heart of Daggers orders.
Cancelled, incomplete, or unsuccessful orders do not count toward the total.
Do free products earn Best Seller badges?
Yes. Best Seller badges are based on completed marketplace sales rather than downloads, so they are intended to recognise products being purchased through the Heart of Daggers Marketplace. This is a great indicator as to how popular a listing is within the community.
Do I need to request my badge?
Nope!
Everything happens automatically. Once your product reaches the next milestone, Heart of Daggers will update its Best Seller status for you.
There can occasionally be a short delay after a sale is completed while marketplace totals refresh, so don't worry if a new badge doesn't appear instantly.
Can a Best Seller badge be lost?
Best Seller badges represent the sales milestone a product has reached through completed orders.
In normal circumstances, once your product reaches a new milestone it will continue displaying that tier until it progresses to the next one.
If completed orders are later refunded, reversed, or otherwise removed from the qualifying sales total, the displayed milestone may adjust accordingly.
Where can I see Best Sellers?
Best Seller badges can appear on product cards and individual product pages, allowing you to quickly see the sales milestone a product has reached.
You can click on a badge to bring products together, making it easy to discover some of the most popular community-created content on the marketplace.

Mostly because we think creators deserve to celebrate their creations.
Reaching 25, 100, 500 or even 1,000 sales is a huge achievement for an independent TTRPG Creator. Best Seller badges give those milestones a permanent place on the marketplace while also helping customers discover products that have found an audience within the Heart of Daggers community.
