Platform Sales are coordinated marketplace-wide promotions designed to bring more attention to creators and their products across Heart of Daggers.
Platform Sales will officially go live on August 15, 2026. Creators are opted out by default, so your products will never be included unless you actively choose to participate.

What are Platform Sales?
Platform Sales are limited-time promotions run across the Heart of Daggers marketplace.
During an active sale, eligible products from participating creators will receive the advertised discount. These sales may also be promoted through Heart of Daggers newsletters, social media, community channels, and other marketplace campaigns.
When will Platform Sales launch?
Platform Sales will officially go live on August 15, 2026.
This gives creators time to review the feature, opt in, and decide which products they would like to make eligible for future sales.
Am I automatically enrolled?
No.
All creators are opted out by default. Your products will not be included in Platform Sales unless you visit the Platform Sales page and actively opt in.
How do I opt in?
Visit the Platform Sales page while signed into your creator account:

From there, you can enable your participation in future Platform Sales.
Can I exclude individual products?
Yes.
You can opt your creator account into Platform Sales while excluding specific products that you do not want discounted.
This allows most of your catalogue to participate while protecting new releases, premium products, bundles, or anything else you would prefer to keep at its regular price.
You can manage excluded products from the Platform Sales page. You can also exclude a product while creating or editing its listing.
Can I change my participation later?
Yes.
You can opt in, opt out, or update your excluded products from the Platform Sales page.
However, we recommend making any changes as early as possible before an announced sale so you have time to confirm that your settings are correct.
How much notice will creators receive?
We will always announce an upcoming Platform Sale at least two weeks before it begins.
The announcement will include the sale name, discount percentage, expected dates, and any important eligibility details.
You will always have an opportunity to review your participation before the sale begins.
What is the first planned sale?
We are currently aiming to run a Fear Fest sale for Halloween, featuring a 30% discount on eligible products from participating creators.
More information, including the confirmed dates, will be announced at least two weeks before the sale begins.
What other Platform Sales could happen?
Future sales could potentially celebrate events such as:
- Free RPG Day
- Christmas
- Valentine’s Day
- New Year
- Daggerheart anniversaries
- Black Friday
- Seasonal or community events
These are only examples of the kinds of promotions we may explore. They are not a confirmed annual schedule, and we do not currently plan to run every sale listed above.
Whenever a new sale is planned, creators will be notified at least two weeks in advance.
Will every sale include my entire catalogue?
When you are opted in, your eligible products may participate in an active Platform Sale unless you have excluded them individually.
You remain in control of which products can be included through your Platform Sales settings.
What happens if one of my products is already discounted?
If a product already has its own sale price, the Platform Sale discount will be applied to the product’s current discounted price.
The original product pricing is not permanently overwritten. Once the Platform Sale ends, the product will return to its normal pricing.
Where will customers see the discount?
Active Platform Sale pricing will be clearly shown across the marketplace, including:
- Product listing pages
- Individual product pages
- Shopping carts
- Checkout
- Order totals
Customers will be able to see the original price, the Platform Sale discount, and the final price they will pay.
Do Platform Sales affect creator earnings?
Creator earnings and Heart of Daggers marketplace fees will be calculated using the final amount paid by the customer after the Platform Sale discount has been applied.
Your normal creator revenue share will otherwise remain unchanged.
Are bundles eligible?
Yes.
Bundles can participate in Platform Sales unless the creator has opted out or specifically excluded the bundle from sales.
How are Pay What You Want products handled?
The displayed minimum or default price may receive the Platform Sale discount.
However, an amount manually entered by the customer will remain under the customer’s control.
Do creator discount codes still work?
Yes.
Creator discount codes can continue to work alongside Platform Sales. Any additional discount will be displayed separately during checkout.
Do I need to participate?
No.
Platform Sales are completely optional. We want to provide creators with more promotional opportunities without taking control away from them.
Creators who prefer to manage all of their sales independently can remain opted out.
