How do I [do the thing] on the HOD website?

Jeffery Estes [Moderator]
Jeffery Estes [Moderator]

I'm creating this thread as a place to post Guides to answer those common questions we see here in the HOD community like:
1- How do I decide between the Adventure Module or the Encounter Module
2- How do I get my players to see a shared fear tracker
3- How do I generate a magic link for a new player to join my campaign

We can then link the forum post guide inside Discord for people ask those questions.
Feel free to write a guide or copy paste the question and answer here in this thread.

Player Countdown/Clocks (Limit of 3 per PC Sheet)
1- Navigate to your character sheet
https://heartofdaggers.com/character/
2- Navigate to the Rest & Downtime Tab at the bottom of the sheet
3- Click on the +Work on a Project button
4- Type in a downtime note (What the Countdown or Clock is tracking

5- Set a Clock Value (Max of 30)

6- Click the +/- Buttons to set it’s current value

7- Click on the +Work on a Project button to set the initial value (Counts up from zero)

Note: Only the player can “see” this clock. It can’t be shared but the GM can “see” your clock from the Campaign/Player section IF your character is joined to that GM’s Campaign.
