Paraly-Leeches

Adversary overview

A writhing mass of bloated leeches that swarm over exposed flesh, numbing victims as they drain them dry.

Paraly-leeches can be found in swamps and marshland, hiding in the water for unsuspecting prey to wade through. They swarm, paralyze, drown and drain the blood of anything that dares to tread the swampy lowlands they call home.

Passives

  • Horde (2d4+1)

When the Horde has marked half or more of their Hit Points, their standard attack deals 2d4+1 damage instead.

  • Numb that leg!

When the Swarm succeeds on an attack, give the target a leech token per hit point they mark. If a target has any leech tokens, they are Vulnerable as the leeches inject anticoagulants and numbing toxins. If a target has three leech tokens, they are also Restrained as the toxins numb the muscles beyond function. All leech tokens can be removed by succeeding on a Finesse Roll (12 + the number of leech tokens) or dealing Major or greater damage to the Swarm.
