About this class
The goal was to make a sort of spellblade/arcane monk style set of subclasses to create some interesting hybrid range combat classes that can help fill the gaps for parties on the fly when they are lacking magic or physical damage. An interesting amalgamation of magic meets might, rolled into those that practice both through unique art forms. A foil to sorcerers where instead of just being born a powerful vessel for more primal/raw magic, they instead cultivate themselves into funnels/filters that use the magic of the world around them to perpetuate their needs or crafts. Initially I wanted to make a more Astral theme to them splitting the subclass themes between the stars, and the sky between them in a literal sense, but felt that through the lens of an artist it’d be more interesting to narratively play and describe how a character “sees” the world, and how their magic takes shape because of it.

Zenith Mark
Spend a Hope and make an attack against a target. On a success, deal your attack’s normal damage and temporarily mark the target. You can have as many targets marked as your instinct stat. When a target is marked they cannot hide while within medium range of you, and the first attack on them in a turn gains +1 proficiency on hit. You can spend a mark to teleport to the marked enemy in a series of painted/drawn afterimages as long as they are in medium range.
