About this class
Freelancers are charismatic showmen who use their skills with a blade to earn a living, often through spectacle or sport. They typically have little interest in working for a specific organization or client, instead preferring to represent themselves and their personal goals, be it for fame, glory, or wealth. Freelancers take their opponents by surprise with their bravado, often smiling in the face of danger and enjoying the thrills of battle. They tend to be incredibly charming as well, through wit or pure magnetism. Their combination of martial and social skills make Freelancers powerful allies… for the right price.

You gain confidence as you build momentum through success.
You get a +1 bonus to damage rolls equal to your Confidence. You can have a maximum of 6 Confidence.
When you long rest, set your Confidence to 2.
When you succeed with Hope, increase your confidence by 1. When you fail with Fear, decrease your Confidence by 1. -
Aura of Aptitude
Strangers are more likely to notice and approach you. When you are propositioned by someone for the first time, you have advantage on rolls to determine their true intentions.

Inner Strength: Once per long rest, you may mark 3 Stress to gain 3 Confidence.
Press the Advantage: Once per scene when you succeed on an attack against an adversary within Very Close range, you may spend any number of Confidence. You add a d4 to the damage roll for each Confidence spent.

Not Out Yet: When you have no Confidence, you can't take more than Major damage.
Roar of the Crowd: When you are participating in a duel, contest, or game that is being spectated by a crowd, you are energized by their applause. During this event:
When you roll a success with Hope, it is a critical success.
When you roll a failure, it is always with Fear.

Never the Underdog: You may use your Press the Advantage feature as many times per scene as you wish.

To the Victor, the Spoils: When you cause an adversary to mark their last Hit Point, you gain a Confidence.
Winning Smile: Once per scene, you may spend any number of Confidence when you make a Presence Roll. You gain a bonus to the result equal to the number of Confidence spent.

Riposte: Once per scene when an adversary within Melee range fails an attack against you, you may force them to mark a Hit Point as you parry.
Sleight of Hand: Once per scene during a game of chance, you may spend a Hope to change the result of one die to any result you want.

Demoralize : Spend three hope to intimidate an adversary within Close range. They are unable to attack during their next spotlight.
