About this class
Commanding the spirits of nature is a delicate and wonderful endeavour. Those who are attuned to the flow of energy between living things may seek to harness this energy, using it to invigorate allies and manipulate lifeforms. Shamans seek to protect the balance of life energy within the world, preserving the beauty in the environment using the resources it provides. Having dominion over plants, animals, fungus and the spirits of nature are some of the methods in which a shaman may protect their world. Healing and preserving the people and pets they interact with who share their ideals while aiding the defeat of those who do not.

Spirits of Nature
You have 3 Spirit Totems, listed below. When you succeed on an action roll, you may bestow a totem on an ally you can see, or change which ally one totem is bestowed upon. Use the space below to note the ally each totem is bestowed upon. Allies with a totem bestowed upon them gain a corresponding bonus.
Oak Totem:
They gain a bonus to their damage thresholds equal to your Tier.
Raven Totem:
When they use their Hope Feature, they may clear a stress.
Wolf Totem:
They gain a +1 bonus to an ability of their choice, (they choose when they receive the totem).
An ally looses a totem when they leave Far range of you or the session ends.

Foundation
SPELLCAST TRAIT: Instinct
Grasping Vines: Spend a Hope to choose a point within Close range. Adversaries within Very Close range of that point suffer a -1 Penalty to their difficult and must mark a Hit Point to leave. This lasts until you use this ability again.
Lotus Bloom: You can spend a downtime move to grow 1d4 Flower Blooms. When eaten as part of an action, they clear a Hit Point. These Blooms wilt when you next rest.

Wall of Thorns: Make a Spellcast Roll (15). Once per rest on a success, choose two points within Close range and grow a wall of sharp thorns, about your height, between them. A creature that touches the wall takes 2d8+2 magic damage. A creature forcibly moved along the wall's length takes 4d8+2 magic damage instead. A creature in the walls path when it grows takes 2d8+2 magic damage and is shunted to a side of your choice. A source of fire that damages the wall burns a narrow passage through.

Mastery
Rootstep: Once per long rest, you can spend a Hope to step into a tree or other large plant and reappear any distance away on the same plane of existence at another tree or plant you have seen before. Allies near you when you do this can also spend a Hope to come with you.

SPELLCAST TRAIT: Instinct
Caller of the Wilds: Once per rest, you can call upon a flock of small animals to aid you until the scene ends. You can talk to them and command them to perform simple actions. When you or an ally makes a damage roll against an adversary within Close range of the flock, you may have them move to that adversary's side and increase the damage roll by d4 using your Proficiency.

Loyal Guardians: Once per rest, you can call upon a large animal to stay by your side and Guard you. when the creature that animal is Guarding is targeted by an attack or other harmful effect, you may have the animal become the target instead. After doing so the animal flees.
Migration: Mark a Stress to have your flock and your large animal move to an allies' side within Close range. Your large animal begins Guarding them instead.

Mastery
Stampede: Make a Spellcast Roll (18). Once per rest on a success, call upon a stampede of animals. Spend any number of Hope and roll that many d20s. All adversaries within Close range make a reaction roll with Difficulty equal to the highest result you rolled. Adversaries that fail keep rolling until they succeed or they fail 3 times. Then all adversaries mark a number of Stress equal the number of times they rolled.
