The Magus brings arcane combat mastery to Daggerheart, blending weapon skill and magic into a seamless, devastating fighting style. Where others choose between blade or spell, the Magus fuses both into a single discipline, channeling power through every strike and shaping magic through motion and intent. Built around the harmony of martial precision and arcane force, the Magus excels at delivering empowered attacks, weaving spells into combat, and adapting fluidly to the flow of battle.

I mostly really like this idea for a Magus but I worry that the subclass features don't balance off each other well. The class Hope feature lasts for an entire scene and gives a large repeated damage bonus. Every core class Hope feature is single action based. Playtest Blood Hunter being the only exception but it has a conditional burn out. At foundation level: Spellshot has a that greatly increases the class Hope feature damage for the entire scene it's around - that's extremely potent. Magister uses 1 hope for a very small reduction to damage, on a per attack basis. Past foundation level they seem equivalent, but that spellshot ability is to potent it makes the class combined with this subclass seem potentially overtuned. The third inscluded subclass seems about 'right'. Retuning spellshot and the Hope feature would bring this class into parity, though Magister's foundation feature, similar to but weaker than the Arcana Rune Ward domain card, is so minor that it's unlikely to ever have notable impact.
