What You'll Get
Here's what you'll get when you buy this product!
The Adventure
A Five-Act Monster Hunt
This Tier 2 Adventure plays out in five acts, allowing players to familiarize themselves with their quarry and the contract-issuers before delving into the hostile and unforgiving swamp. They'll be presented with the opportunity to earn unique Advice Cards designed to make their adventure more manageable. They aren't the only ones hunting the Dire Goose, though... a rival troupe, the Ribcage Gang, is also after the beast's head, and they're willing to do some unsavory things to get it.
One-Shot Option
Only have a couple of hours to play? This adventure guide includes tips and tools for running this adventure as a one-shot, telling you where to start, what to remove, and how to ensure the session flows perfectly between acts without too much time spent in one spot.
The Adversaries
Swamp Creatures
Confront the dangerous denizens of the swamp, including Dire Crocodiles, Dire Cassowaries, and the terrifying Yatevea plant!
The Dire Goose isn't the only threat in the swamp. While journeying through the swamps of Nortmol, players will encounter skulking Dire Crocodiles, fast-moving Dire Cassowaries, and acid-filled Yatevea plants. The GM can drop these in at any time during the swamp adventure and they can even appear when facing off against the Dire Goose in its lair! Each has unique tactics and abilities, making them fun and unpredictable.
The Ribcage Gang
A massive, international gang of scavengers and hunters, the notorious Ribcage Gang is in it for the money and they aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.
A few members of the Ribcage Gang are also in the swamps hunting the Dire Goose as part of this adventure. Wielding and wearing modified scrap components, these outlaws are dangerous to others… and themselves. They'll do whatever it takes to get the job done, making them an unpredictable threat.
The Dire Goose
The Grey Dragon of Nortmol, the Feathered Fear, the King of the Swamp... this goose is a fearsome foe even when prepared for the encounter, let alone when the fight was unexpected.
This adventure centers around the inevitable fight with the Dire Goose, with the party first encountering this honking behemoth in Act One before facing off against it once and for all in Act Four. The lead-up consists of opportunities to gain (or lose) the upper hand against this monster. With it being a Tier 3 Solo adversary, this monstrosity is going to be unkillable without proper preparation!
The Items
Beast-Themed Items
Acquire beast-themed items as rewards for completing this adventure!
Based on the performance of the party in this adventure, they can acquire a wealth of unique items, including a powerful tower shield made from the bill of the Dire Goose, a vine whip crafted from the remains of a Yatevea, or even Dire Crocodile hide armor!
Ribcage Gear
It's shoddy, but powerful! Snag the scrap-based firearms once-wielded by the Ribcage Gang!
If the party manages to take down the Ribcage Gang, they could retrieve firearms unique to these scavenging outlaws. While unreliable, the weapons pack a punch when they work!

About the Creator
T. L. Bainter — About Me
My name is T. L. Bainter, and I'm delighted that you're here. I've been a writer and storyteller for as long as I can remember—which admittedly isn't that far, but is still a good chunk of time. In the early days, I stapled sheets of paper together and wrote tales in them before graduating to composition notebooks, then finally to getting a computer of my own, which led to me receiving awards for my short stories Edwin, The Ansleigh Arc, Beneath Magenta Rain, and finally Our World is Ending and I Love You. But this isn't the only kind of creativity I enjoy—I've also been a Game Master since 2019, though I got my start running both 3.5e and my own custom TTRPG system at an age as young as 8 or 9 (hard to say for sure) wherein I would draw dungeons and worlds on massive sheets of paper for my sister and neighbor to run through.
Having the opportunity to create content for TTRPGs now is outstanding for me and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to continue doing something I'm so passionate about. I've come a long way, and I hope that shows in the content here.
